The Provider

Hannah M. Dauven, psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner

Hannah M. Dauven, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Sigma, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should be compassionate, individualized, and centered around the person—not just the diagnosis. Hannah is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Hannah provides care for individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. She takes the time to listen, understand what you are experiencing, and learn what is most important to you before developing a treatment plan.

Her approach is trauma-informed and may include medication management, supportive therapy, CBT techniques, motivational interviewing, cognitive assessments, education, and practical strategies that can be used in everyday life. Hannah believes you should understand your treatment and have a voice in the decisions that affect your care. Together, you will develop a plan that considers your symptoms, goals, medical history, lifestyle, and individual needs.

Most importantly, Hannah wants her patients to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. Her goal is to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can openly discuss your concerns and work toward feeling better, functioning better, and improving your overall quality of life.

Hannah provides care for individuals ages 12 and older. For children younger than 12, she is happy to help families connect with trusted mental health professionals who specialize in younger children.

In-person appointments are available Mondays and Tuesdays at the Fort Collins office, with telehealth appointments available throughout Colorado. Whether you are beginning mental health treatment for the first time or looking for a provider who will take the time to truly listen, Hannah will work alongside you to develop care that fits you as an individual.
